Larry T. Nix, The Library History Buff

by my colleagues to help celebrate my
retirement from the Wisconsin state library agency in 2003 after 23
years of service.
Since my retirement I have pursued my interest in library history which includes maintaining the Library History Buff Web site. I have developed several philatelic exhibits featuring postal librariana. I have also displayed exhibits of other kinds of librariana in my collection. I have written articles which have appeared in both library and philatelic periodicals. I continue to be active in the Wisconsin Library Association and serve on the Board of the Wisconsin Library Association Foundation. I have also undertaken several projects as a library consultant.
